Adsense for Feeds is no more ! Marking the end of RSS era ?

Google has decided to discontinue one of their old product, Adsense For Feeds.The deadline is December 3rd nothing to worry, as this will not affect the other Adsense products.This may mark up the end of serving ads through RSS. Although not many are interested in serving ads through feeds, the no of users for this product have decreased in the past years.The existing ones are the mainly on the Google's self hosted Blogger platform.

The earnings till December 3 will be calculated and finalized. Reports and Stats will be all disclosed on December 3.From the official Announcement from Google:

"After carefully evaluating the product, we’ve decided to retire the AdSense for feeds product. The process will happen in two phases and your account will be affected, depending on your usage of the product. To check whether you’re currently generating any revenue from AdSense for feeds, run your “Products” performance report and review the listed products for recent data for "AdSense for feeds."

This markup the End of a Golden era were the popularity of RSS were flying high. The arrival of more Easier subscription services and Social networking sites, May be the reason for the Disclosure AFF.
